Back in March, I wrote a blog on a upcoming musical about Conway Twitty. There are some comments left from a few people that had the chance to see the final dress rehearsal. Sounds like an excellent show, no doubt.
The show has dates scheduled Wabash, IN tonight, and then beginning in October continues to Peoria, IL, Nashville, TN, Branson, MO, Maggie Valley, NC, and several dates in Laughlin, NV. I sure hope more dates will come for this show.
As I mentioned in March, this musical is so important. Conway Twitty's music is and has been so important to country music and his story is important to be understood by country music fans that love his music. The musical tells his story through the eyes of his children from his humble beginnings to being a true country music legend.
If you live in one of those areas mentioned, wish I did, this is a show that you have to go see. Visit http://www.conwaytwittymusical.com/ for more information about this musical. Also, some tickets may be available through Ticketmaster.
