Back on February 5, 2008 I mentioned a new release coming from Brad Paisley that will be an instrumental album. At that time we didn't know much, other than it would be released this year, most likely... well, now we have details and its something to get really excited about.
First, the release date will be November 4, 2008. (Your to do list: 1- Vote. 2-Get Paisley album. 3-listen to Paisley. 4-Watch election results.)
The new CD will be titled "Run and Play" and will be 15 tracks, 11 written/co-written by Paisley
Now, the exciting news....
- It has been described as an "all out guitar celebration"
- 4 vocal tracks featuring B.B. King, Keith Urban, Steve Wariner, and Buck Owens
- Little Jimmy Dickens is featured on the album
- Track titled "Cluster Pluck" which will feature James Burton, Vince Gill, John Jorgensen, Albert Lee, Brent Mason, Redd Volkaert, and Steve Wariner
- The late Buck Owens is featured on a track penned and recorded by Owens called "Come On In" that had remained unfinished.
Will keep you updated on pre-order status and such as we get closer. This is turning out to be one of those must pick up on release day albums. It is sounding more than special.
