It seems that most of the time lately albums get pushed back. Release dates are set, and then we notice they don't come out then. For different reasons the label decides its not time to release it or the artist gets dropped from the label. Today, however, there is quiet the opposite.
Blake Shelton's new album was scheduled for January. The new single from the upcoming album was released recently titled "She Wouldn't Be Gone" that I just love. Its one of those songs that make you want to turn up the volume. It shows off Shelton's great vocals and good song selection. The song is having so much success that Warner Brothers Nashville has moved up the release date. Yes, you read that right. The album is now scheduled for November 18. The album will be titled "Startin' Fires."
The album will include a duet with (girlfriend) Miranda Lambert titled "Bare Skin Rug"
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton begin their co-headlining tour tonight in (my hometown) Richmond, Virginia at the Virginia State Fair. For other tour dates and tickets click here
